Booking Your Pony Party
If you wish to make a pony magic booking please contact us in the first instance by email or telephone, alternatively print off a booking form and return by post with your deposit. A 50% deposit will be charged for all bookings with the outstanding balance to be paid in full upon arrival at the event or party by cash or cheque.
- In most cases we will arrange a site visit prior to the party or event, this gives opportunity to make a full risk assessment and discuss any queries you may have to ensure the event runs smoothly, we can also collect your booking form and deposit at this time.
- Cancellation - your party or event will only be cancelled by us in exceptional circumstances beyond our control, if this happens you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. If the client cancels within 4 weeks of the party the deposit paid is non refundable, however in extreme weather conditions deposits will be returned or an alternative date agreed upon.
- We prefer to travel within a 20 mile radius of our base in Sarisbury Green, Southampton, Hampshire, but will be happy to discuss events outside of this area. Occasionally we may encounter traffic problems but will make up the time if running late.
- Please ensure adequate adult supervision for children at parties, we will supervise children riding or handling the ponies but younger and less confident children may need to be held whilst on the pony. It is also wise to check with parents that children do not have allergies to ponies and they are happy for them to ride. Please do not feed the ponies.
- Our ponies are quiet and well trained however they can be sensitive to distractions such as loose dogs and bouncy castles! Please bear this in mind when booking your party, we will be happy to advise, also consider in wet weather we cannot guarantee that our ponies will not leave footprints on your grassed area, they do not wear shoes to keep damage to a minimum. Permission must be gained for use of any public areas such as parks or village hall land and details provided to us in advance.
- We ask that our instructions and guidelines for behaviour when handling or riding the ponies are followed for the safety of the children and welfare of the ponies, we reserve the right to leave a party if anyone becomes abusive to our ponies or pony magic staff.
